Description: SINANI/KwaZulu-Natal Programme for Survivors of Violence (PSV) is a dynamic non-profit-organisation that partners with communities that are affected by violence. SINANI is non-partisan and works with different sides of conflict within any partner community. SINANI aims to re-build the social fabric of communities affected by violence through victim empowerment, community development and peace-building. A holistic approach is the base for our work with all sectors of a community. SINANI supports weekly groups with regard to personal development, income generation and community development. Training in capacity building, victim empowerment and community development is offered to leadership, other NGO's and government personnel. SINANI promotes respectful collaborative relationships and addresses the expressed needs of partner communities. This gives the organisation its positive reputation and record of effective intervention.
