The voice of youth with disabilities

The Office on the Status of Disabled Persons (CSDP) in the Presidency has launched a campaign around Youth Day 2002 to encourage young people with disabilities to speak out about their lives. The campaign is part of a national awareness plan to support implementation of government's Integrated National Disability Strategy and to meet its objectives in the areas of public education and awareness. It is encouraging disabled youth to share their experiences of disability in the way they feel most comfortable - through words in any language or even through pictures.
