Description: This clinic provides an HIV/AIDS awareness program, distributes condoms and pre-test and post-test counselling. The bloods are sent to Vryheid Hospital. The hospital receives some food for the malnourished (beans and Nespray) but supplies often run short. The clinic is currently involved in a gardening project.

Description: Our Rural Outreach Project supporting orphaned children in extended families within their communities. Providing food parcels, education (e.g. school fees, school uniforms and stationery), medical help and lifeskills training where possible.

Description: Community Care Centre caring for orphaned and abandoned children in the rural areas of KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa. These children have been orphaned as a result of the HIV pandemic.

Description: This clinic has a comprehensive HIV/AIDS awareness program which involves community talks, condom distribution (male and female), and HIV/AIDS and bereavement counselling. HIV testing occurs at the clinic and bloods are sent to Greys Hospital. Nespray milk is provided for babies and the malnourished. A doctor visits the clinic twice a month.

Description: We place children and orphans of AIDS in homes "Ubuntu" style in KwaMashu area and we focus on children as from 1-14 years. We providea Day care service to 3-6 years in the mornings and supervised homework for the orphans who at school in the afternoons. We provide stress and trauma workshops and midday meal to the children.

Description: The Greater Chatsworth HIV/AIDS Forum represents 65 organisations in Chatsworth and surrounding areas. It was launched in May 2003 and is supported by both the KZN Provincial Health Department and the Ethekwini AIDS Council. The organisation plays a co-ordinating and facilitating role in HIV/AIDS work. It also engages in education and awareness programmes that are targeted at its affiliates. The activities that have been engaged in thus far include workshops for the membership, public meetings, an annual high school essay competition and youth and women awareness programmes. Most recently, we have held a youth concert/matinee and on the 6th of December we will be launching a Men in Partnership Against HIV and AIDS committee.
