?Diakonia Council of Churches - Dbn

?
Overview

The Diakonia Council of Churches was established by churches in Durban - with the aim of participating with member churches and organisations in God's work of transforming society and its environment so that the fullness of life promised by Christ may become a reality for all. We carry this purpose through prayer, consultation and training. Our HIV/AIDS services started in 1994 and include promoting AIDS awareness, referrals, educating people about the virus and mobilising churches to develop a response to HIV/AIDS.
