HIVAN/WCRP Women's Day Capacity Building Programme

The Centre for HIV/AIDS Networking (HIVAN) and the World Conference on Religions and Peace, Durban Chapter (WCRP-DBN), held a Women's Day Capacity Building Event entitled Women celebrating their human rights and standing up for them.
This event included a report back from the African Women of Faith Network Regional Training Conference on Gender Based Violence, held in Nairobi Kenya. Speakers at this event included: Ms. Dhunluxmi Desai (SA Hindu Maha Sabha - SAHMS; Paddy Meskin (World Conference on Religion Peace - WCRP) and a representative of the Office of the Premier ?– Gender Machinery.
