CD-ROM - Activities for home-based care for children

05 January 2006. A posting from Gender-AIDS ([email protected])
Young People We Care! (YPWC), a programme managed by John Snow International Europe (JSI Europe) in Zimbabwe, was set up to assist both home-based care organisations and youth groups to train young people, both in school and out of school to provide support to children and adults affected by HIV and AIDS.

JSI Europe is pleased to announce that its manual 'Young People We Care: Making a Difference in Our Community' is now available on CD-ROM. The manual is for use by organisations or groups of young people aged 15-24 years who support home-based care activities or assist children affected by HIV/AIDS. The CD-ROM also contains 5 posters with basic information on HIV and AIDS and YPWC's newsletters.

The CD-ROM is free of charge and can be obtained by sending an email to Maggie Garwe at [email protected] or by writing to her at: Zimbabwe HIV and AIDS Programme, Standards Association Building, Northend Close, Northridge Park, Borrowdale, P.O. Box 4200, Harare, Zimbabwe.
