CIAT-Invitation to submit project proposals 2005 - 2006

01 June 2005. A posting from Af-AIDS ([email protected])
The International Treatment Activists Coalition (CIAT), with the support of the TIDES Foundation, invites organizations working in the field of HIV/AIDS to submit funding proposals for projects relating to education on quality treatments, citizen participation and awareness, advocacy and political incidence.

Funding amounts range from US$5,000 to US$30,000 for initiatives to be implemented within a maximum six-month period.

CIAT/ITPC is a movement of people living with and without HIV to ensure equitable access to treatment and care for people living with HIV through greater education on treatments for people and organizations via public promotion at local, regional and international levels. This is achieved by targeting all the interested parties, including governments, international and bilateral agencies, pharmaceutical and diagnostic companies, non-governmental organizations and groups, and the private sector. CIAT/ITPC advocates greater involvement of people living with HIV in the decisions that affect their lives.

The deadline for receiving application forms is June 30, 2005. No extensions will be made.
