HIVAN Director wins ASSAf Science-for-Society Gold Medal

HIVAN Director: Biomedical Sciences, Prof Jerry Coovadia, has been awarded an ASSAf (Academy of Science of South Africa) Science-for-Society Gold Medal.

Professor Brian Warner also won an award and their medals will be presented to them at an awards ceremony in Cape Town during October 2004.
