Capacity Building Assistance to improve the Delivery and Effectiveness of HIV Prevention Services for Racial/Ethnic Minority Populations
CDC?s Division of HIV and AIDS Prevention (DHAP), Capacity Building Branch (CBB), announces the availability of funding for organizations to provide capacity building assistance (CBA) to community-based organizations, health departments, and HIV prevention community planning groups. CBA provided under this program announcement (PA) will strengthen the delivery of effective HIV prevention services for high-risk racial/ethnic minority populations.
Eligibility is limited to organizations that have experience and expertise providing CBA to community-based organizations, health departments, and HIV prevention community planning groups that serve the HIV prevention needs of racial and ethnic minority populations.
If interested in applying, organizations may request an application kit from CDC?s National Prevention Information Network (NPIN) Web site: www.cdcnpin.org or by fax to 1-888-282-7681. Letters of Intent are due December 22nd, 2003 and the applications are due January 26th, 2004.
