Dr Clive Evian is a primary care and community health physician. Professionally, he has been fully involved with the HIV/AIDS epidemic for the past fifteen years and he provides a freelance consulting service to the public, private and NGO sectors via his consulting firm AIDS Management and Support.
He is an honorary lecturer in the Department of Community Health at the University of the Witwatersrand, and has been a session doctor at the Johannesburg Hospital HIV Clinic for many years. Dr Evian has extensive experience in the public and private sector, and has written and published widely on various aspects of the HIV epidemic. He is also the author AIDS in the Workplace and a thirteen-part manual entitled Primary Clinical Care
