What is in the HIV/AIDS NGO/CBO Support Toolkit?

The toolkit includes practical information, tools and example documents to help those working to establish or improve NGO/CBO support programmes. The toolkit also describes key components of NGO/CBO support programming, based on the Alliance's experience, as well as resources from a wide range of other organisations bringing together different perspectives and experiences.

Who is it the HIV/AIDS NGO/CBO Support Toolkit for?

The HIV/AIDS NGO/CBO Support toolkit has been developed for those wishing to establish or improve NGO/CBO support programmes. The toolkit will be useful both for NGO-led support programmes and for Government-led or multi-sectoral programmes, especially in the context of Global Fund and World Bank financing for NGOs and CBOs working on HIV/AIDS. The toolkit will also be useful to organisations which provide only funding or only training.

How can I contribute my ideas and resources to the HIV/AIDS NGO/CBO Support Toolkit?
There is a great need for organisations providing NGO/CBO support. These organisations need to be efficient and learn from the successes and mistakes of others. The toolkit aims to share experiences from a range of organisations, and to evolve over time as more resources and lessons emerge. If you have any input, feedback or resources that you would like to contribute to the toolkit, your ideas would be very welcome.

You can contact us either by clicking on the feedback button on the toolkit website, or writing to:

[email protected]

We would be grateful if you could add a link to the HIV/AIDS NGO/CBO Support Toolkit to your organisation?’s website if appropriate. Please also pass this information to others who may not have access to the same information as you.
