Small Grant Fund: Global Health Council (GHC)
|
With funding from the U.S. Agency for International Development, the Global Health Council's Global AIDS Program is now in its second year of administering a Small Grant Fund to support crucial networking activities. This fund awards grants in order to better promote the participation of community-based nongovernmental organization (NGO) representatives at key conferences, meetings, and workshops, and to assist NGOs in holding meetings, workshops, seminars, and producing relevant information, education, and communication materials.
This fund allows for nontraditional USAID partners to receive support to organize workshops and panels on issues relevant to the global AIDS pandemic, to provide scholarships to attend existing conferences and meetings, and to secure funding for key materials that aim at educational awareness of HIV/AIDS prevention and care.
Deadline:Continuous. Proposals are accepted on a continuing basis by the council's Global AIDS Program for distribution to the advisory panel who meets every two months to evaluate and select awardees. Unrestricted citizenship or residency.
