HIV/AIDS and Ageing: Basic and Clinical Research: DHHS and NIH

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), the National Institute on Aging (NIA), and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) invite research grant applications through this request for applications (RFA) to support research about older adults (greater than 50 years of age) infected with human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
Sponsor:The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH), the National Institute on Aging (NIA), and the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
Eligibility:Applications may be submitted by domestic or foreign, for-profit or nonprofit organizations and public or private institutions, such as universities, colleges, hospitals, and laboratories; units of state and local governments; eligible agencies of the federal government; and faith-based or community-based organizations. The citizenship of the PI is unrestricted.
Deadline:January 13, 2003
Deadline Note:Although not required, prospective applicants are asked to submit a letter of intent by December 13, 2002. Applications are due by January 13, 2003.
