Oral mucosal innate factors in the inhibition of HIV: DHHS and NIH

The National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) invites investigator-initiated grant applications for support of research on the innate factors of the oral mucosal immune system involved in host resistance to the acquisition and spread of HIV and associated opportunistic infections.
Sponsor:Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS); National Institutes of Health (NIH) and National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR).
Deadline:December 11, 2002.
Eligibility:Applications may be submitted by domestic and foreign, for-profit or nonprofit organizations and public or private institutions, such as universities, colleges, hospitals, and laboratories; units of state and local governments; and eligible agencies of the federal government. The citizenship of the PI is unrestricted.
