Share your story about HIV/AIDS - Creative Writing Competition

Writers who have never been published before are invited to submit their poems, story or testimony about HIV/AIDS for entry in a writing competition. Winning authors will receive cash prizes and their entries will be published alongside work by previously published authors in an anthology of creative writing on HIV/AIDS from Southern Africa.
The competition will be judged by well known Southern African writers and critics including Njabulo Ndebele (author of Fools and Other Stories and Rediscovering the Ordinary).
Only submissions from unpublished writers will be considered for the competition. Published authors are invited to submit their writing for inclusion in the anthology but will not entered into the competition. Please indicate on your submission whether or not you have published before.
1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be awarded in each of the following three categories:
Short Stories (maximum of 15 pages, one entry per author)
Poetry (3-5 poems)
Testimony (maximum of 15 pages, one entry per author)
All authors must be from the Southern African region (i.e. from Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, Malawi, Mozambique, Swaziland, South Africa, Zambia or Zimbabwe).
Please ensure that your name, address and nationality are clearly marked on each page of your entry, and that your pages are numbered. All entries must be in English and must be accompanied by a brief biographical note. Hand-written entries must be legible.
