Sinosizo Home Based Care Programme - Durban

?
Overview

We offer Home Based Care and palliative care for people with HIV/AIDS and we also care for orphans and vulnerable children. We educate and support families in caring for their sick family members, and provide counselling for adults and children at household level. HIV training and education is provided in under resourced areas. Sinosizo Home Based Care, a project of Catholic Archdiocese of Durban Aids Care Commission provides care and support to people living with HIV/ AIDS and their families. Sinosizo works primarily with 6 communities in and around the Durban Metropolitan providing home based care to people infected with HIV/AIDS; support to orphans and vulnerable children; training of volunteers, churches and other organisations. It also operates an ARV clinic in the Groutville/Etete area.
