| Ford has launched an HIV/AIDS programme, the purpose of which is to educate employees about HIV/AIDS and genrally promote awareness about the virus. This encompasses a twelve month course where AIDS is taught as a school subject to pre-sexually active children. The second pilot project involves caring for people who are infected with HIV (this includes empowerment and income generation projects) and a comprehensive care programme for HIV positive children. |
