| I am a lecturer in the School of Education, Training and Development, PMB. At present, I am responsible for the development of the Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE):Social Equity and Inclusion. The ACE is for school based educators wishing to upgrade their qualifications or further specialize. The ACE: Social Equity & Inclusion aims to develop educators knowledge of social justice education and to develop their knowledge, values and skills to promote equity for all learners. Within this ACE, we plan to develop a unit within a 16 credit module which focuses on developing educators knowledge & understanding of HIV/AIDS and related issues. |
