New TB/HIV Data Available

More than a decade after it was identified as a global health emergency, tuberculosis (TB) continues to kill approximately two million people each year. The Stop TB Partnership has declared March 24 th, 2006 "World TB Day" to mobilize support and raise awareness about TB/HIV as a global health issues.


To help ensure information about TB/HIV are widely and freely available, the Kaiser Family Foundation, through its two global health websites, GlobalHealthReporting.org and GlobalHealthFacts.org, features new and updated resources, including the latest news, new data just released by the World Health Organization (WHO), and events related to TB around the world.
