Username and Password
All fields marked with an asterisk are compulsory fields and must be completed in order for you to proceed to the next level.Username and passwords can contain both letters of the alphabet and numbers. The password however must be one word with no spaces. Please ensure that 'password' and 'retype password' are the same. If not an error message will appear. If networker type is individual then, to edit your profile your login name is your surname and your password, the password entered. If networker type is organisation then, to edit your profile your login name is the organisation entered in the name field and your password, the password entered.

Contact details
Contact details is not a compulsory field. However information entered will be accessible by HIVAN networkers

Add a document
Document descriptions refers to the name that will appear on the website and should be brief yet descriptive.To upload or add a document to the HIVAN Network, one must first click on the browse button and then select the file you want to add to the site. Once filename appears in field, click on upload. Once upload is complete the name of the file will appear on the page. If you have added the wrong document click on 'delete document' and resume upload. All documents to be uploaded must have a description, without which an error message will appear. Upload time may differ depending on the size of the file and network traffic. If file size is too large one may get a time-out error. Try uploading when network traffic as lighter. The file may also be added in two parts.

Add picture
Picture caption must be brief and is compulsory if you are adding a picture. To upload a picture click on the browse button, select picture you want to add to site. Picture must be 40k bytes or less. Pictures can be gif. or jpg/jpeg. Upload time may differ depending on the size of the file and network traffic. If file size is too large one may get a time-out error. Only one picture to be uploaded per networker. If you experience difficulties uploading a picture you may click on the E-mail button and mail your picture to [email protected] who will assist you in adding the picture to your record.

Add Web address
Add the affiliated web addresses associated with your networker in the field provided. Description is compulsory when adding a web address.

Region To display
Add the affiliated region associated with your networker in the field provided. A 'view maps' link is available should you wish to view region to be selected.

Add advanced options
Hold down the control (Ctrl) key if you want to select more that one affiliated networker. Once selected click on 'submit.'

Remove advanced options
Hold down control (Crtl) key to de-select more than one affiliated networker. Click on 'submit' once you have selected options
