| The Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology is both a service and teaching department. Its health services and clinical teaching facilities are attached to King Edward VIII Hospital. The obstetric service caters for approximately 14,000 deliveries per year.We serve as a referral base for 8 community clinics in the surrounding areas, which deal with uncomplicated deliveries. Approximately 12 000 deliveries per annum are performed at these clinics under the supervision of the department. |
